Huấn Hoa Hồng house raid draws massive crowd in Hanoi

On the afternoon of 6 August, police from the Ministry of Public Security and local forces carried out an emergency search of the Vinhomes Ocean Park residence in Gia Lâm, Hanoi, identified as the home of internet personality Bùi Xuân Huấn, known as Huấn Hoa Hồng. The operation attracted hundreds of onlookers, many of them TikTokers and YouTubers, who gathered along the streets to film and livestream the scene. Police had to deploy traffic‑control measures and set up barriers to keep the crowd away from the premises, repeatedly urging people not to approach the site.

The raid follows a recent controversy in which Huấn Hoa Hồng was accused by fellow TikToker Vua Quạt of misusing funds raised through online charitable campaigns. Huấn responded by presenting bank statements to prove the transparency of the donations, but public debate continued, fueling the surge of spectators eager to capture “exclusive” footage. Authorities have not released an official statement about the reasons for the search, and the investigation remains ongoing.
