Police raid home of Vietnamese livestream seller Bùi Xuân Huấn in Hanoi

On 6 August, police conducted a search of the residence of Bùi Xuân Huấn – known online as Huấn Hoa Hồng – in the Vinhomes Ocean Park estate of Gia Lâm, Hanoi. Huấn, 41, has built a large following on Facebook (3.7 million) and TikTok (5.9 million) by livestreaming sales of a wide range of products, from cheap perfumes to personal‑care items, while flaunting a lavish lifestyle of luxury cars and high‑value assets.

He has been listed as chairman and legal representative of several companies, most notably the HL Group, a joint‑stock firm founded in February 2022 with a charter capital of nearly VND 100 billion, of which he holds about 55 percent. The raid attracted significant attention on social media, highlighting concerns over his business practices and the legality of his online sales operations.
