Police raid Muzaffarpur residence of MLA Amit Kumar Ranu

Police conducted a raid at the Muzaffarpur residence of Amit Kumar Ranu, the LJP (Ram Vilas) MLA representing the Belsand constituency, following a search warrant issued by a court.

The action stems from a land dispute involving the MLA’s brother, Sonu Singh. Allegations against Singh include using intimidation tactics and destroying a boundary wall during a dispute. A case has been registered against Singh and approximately 50 unidentified individuals.

Reports indicate that the accused allegedly arrived at the site in a vehicle bearing the LJP (Ram Vilas) flag. While two individuals have reportedly been arrested and sent to jail, police are continuing their investigation into the roles of the named and unnamed suspects.
