Santa Fe authorities demolish drug trafficking site in Rosario

Authorities in Santa Fe have continued the demolition of drug trafficking sites in Rosario under the Micro-trafficking Law. The most recent operation targeted a drug sales and storage location in the Bella Vista neighborhood, specifically at the intersection of Cerrito and the tracks.

This operation marks the 88th demolition in Rosario and the 147th across the entire province since the law was enacted in late 2023. The intervention was a coordinated effort involving the Ministry of Justice and Security, the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPA), and local police forces.

Officials noted that these sites often generate violence, shootings, and homicides near schools and health centers. The investigation into the Bella Vista site is linked to a gang involved in both drug trafficking and violent property usurpation, with four individuals already facing charges.
