Argentina police conduct widespread raids against drug trafficking and forgery
Law enforcement agencies across Argentina have conducted a series of operations targeting drug trafficking, smuggling, and theft. In Buenos Aires, the City Police dismantled a drug distribution network in the Constitución neighborhood, arresting 17 dealers and seizing nearly 8,800 doses of cocaine and base paste.
In Santa Fe, the Federal Police carried out 21 simultaneous raids, resulting in five arrests and the seizure of over 1,100 grams of marijuana, cocaine, firearms, and significant cash. Similar anti-drug operations were reported in Concordia and various locations in the AMBA region.
Other significant police actions included the dismantling of a criminal organization in the AMBA area specializing in the falsification of national IDs and driver's licenses, leading to 64 arrests. Additionally, authorities in Chaco and various provinces intercepted smuggling attempts and recovered stolen property, including vehicles and musical instruments. In Río Grande, raids targeted suspected contraband and drug sales linked to foreign nationals.
