Police report armed robbery in Vilhena and motorcycle recovery in Marcelândia

Police in Brazil are investigating two separate criminal incidents in the states of Rondônia and Mato Grosso.

In Vilhena, Rondônia, a woman was targeted in an armed robbery near her residence. Two men reportedly followed the victim from a traffic light before approaching her and seizing her bag at gunpoint. The stolen items included a Samsung Galaxy A34 mobile phone, three bank cards, and personal belongings. Although the Military Police conducted tactical patrols in the area, the suspects fled and have not yet been apprehended.

In Marcelândia, Mato Grosso, police recovered a stolen Yamaha Factor YBR 125 motorcycle following a pursuit. Officers from the RAIO Tactical Motorcycle Patrol attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled into a wooded area. The suspect abandoned the motorcycle and escaped into the dense vegetation before police could locate him. The recovered vehicle has been taken to the Marcelândia Civil Police station.
