Police report arrests for illegal residency and public disturbances

Police reports from across the country detail several recent incidents involving illegal residency, public disturbances, and property crimes. In nationwide inspections aimed at combating illegal living, multiple individuals were identified as residing without legal status and subsequently arrested.

In separate incidents, authorities addressed public order issues. In Iskele, a 67-year-old woman was arrested for causing a disturbance while intoxicated, refusing to provide a breath sample. Similarly, a 43-year-old man was arrested in Famagusta for similar disruptive behavior while under the influence of alcohol.

Other reported events include a vehicle fire in the Ciklos area on the Nicosia-Kyrenia highway, believed to be caused by an electrical short circuit in the engine, and various criminal investigations involving theft and fraud.
