Police report car accident in Hirschhorn and theft in Bleicherode
Two separate incidents were reported in Germany involving a vehicle collision and a theft.
In Hirschhorn, a 48-year-old driver and a 14-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries after their Fiat collided with a parked Audi A6 on Schönbrunner Straße. The estimated property damage is 40,000 EUR. Both occupants were treated at a hospital and subsequently released.
In Bleicherode, a 64-year-old woman had her handbag, containing a wallet and a mobile phone, stolen from her parked vehicle near a cemetery. The thief broke a side window to access the passenger seat. Police are seeking information regarding a potential suspect described as a man aged 30 to 40 wearing a red tracksuit, who was seen fleeing the scene on a bicycle.
