Police report motorcycle arson in Argentina and multiple crimes in Uruguay

In Pueblo Esther, Argentina, a 39-year-old man was arrested after deliberately setting fire to his Honda XR 150 motorcycle. The incident occurred on Route 21 following a police patrol. After testing positive for alcohol consumption and refusing a formal breathalyzer test, the man allegedly disconnected his fuel line and used a lighter to ignite the vehicle, creating a hazard for officers on the scene. The motorcycle was destroyed by the fire.

In Salto, Uruguay, several criminal incidents were reported during the early hours of September 27. Police detained a 40-year-old man near the airport after he failed to justify the ownership of three motorcycles. Additionally, a resident reported a Molotov cocktail attack on their home, which caused a small fire but no injuries. Finally, a commercial theft occurred on Aparicio Saravia Street, where thieves broke into a shop and stole various goods, including 70 boxes of cigarettes and electrical cables.
