Police report multiple crimes and speeding offenses in Znojmo and Moravia

Police in the Znojmo region and surrounding areas have reported several criminal and traffic incidents. In Znojmo, a motorcyclist was detained after driving at speeds exceeding 140 km/h despite having driving bans in place until 2034; officers also discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia during the stop.

Authorities are also investigating multiple thefts in the border town of Hevlín and near Znojmo, prompting local officials to urge residents to secure their homes. Additionally, a man at a Znojmo gas station was detained for possessing an air weapon while under the influence of high levels of alcohol.

In a separate traffic enforcement action between Branišovice and Pohořelice, police intercepted an Audi A6 driver traveling at 166 km/h in a 90 km/h zone. The driver's license was subsequently seized.
