Operação Narciso dismantles illegal anabolic steroid network in Brazil FAST-MOVING

The Polícia Civil do Distrito Federal (PCDF) launched Operação Narciso, a major crackdown on a criminal network involved in the clandestine manufacture and distribution of anabolic steroids, thermogenics, and controlled substances. The operation spanned the Distrito Federal and eight other Brazilian states, including São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Paraná.

Authorities executed 43 arrest warrants and 64 search and seizure warrants, resulting in the blocking of over R$ 32 million in assets. The investigation revealed that the group operated highly unsanitary, makeshift laboratories in residential areas and warehouses, producing products without any quality control or sterilization. To mask their origins, the criminals used packaging with foreign names and international laboratory references.

The network was highly organized, involving professionals such as nutritionists, veterinarians, biomedical scientists, and digital influencers. To launder the proceeds, the group utilized shell companies, third-party bank accounts, and even betting platforms to move funds across state lines.
