Police report multiple traffic incidents and arrests in Norway

Police in various Norwegian regions reported several incidents involving driving under the influence and traffic accidents over the weekend. In Porsgrunn, a man in his 20s struck a guardrail on Vallermyrvegen and ended up on a sidewalk; he tested significantly above the legal alcohol limit.

In Skien, a vehicle overturned in a roundabout in Tollnes, landing on its roof. Witnesses reported that four individuals fled the scene. A teenager involved in the incident admitted to driving and also tested positive for alcohol.

Other reported incidents include a man in his 40s being arrested in Seljord for refusing to leave an area after being ordered to do so by police, and a loud explosion in Siljan caused by teenagers placing a fire extinguisher on a bonfire. No injuries were reported from the explosion.
