Police report thefts in Kozienice and Wadowice

Local police in Poland have reported two separate theft incidents. In the Kozienice municipality, thieves broke into a home, resulting in losses estimated at approximately 13,000 PLN. Authorities have used the incident to remind residents to secure their properties, noting that shorter autumn days can increase vulnerability.

In Wadowice, police apprehended a 36-year-old man suspected of stealing a bicycle valued at 1,500 PLN from a residential stairwell. The suspect confessed to the crime, which carries a potential prison sentence of three months to five years. The stolen bicycle was recovered by officers during a search of the surrounding area.
