Police report vehicle tampering and serious accident in Limeira and Leme

Police in the Limeira, Leme, and Pirassununga regions of Brazil reported several incidents on Friday. In Limeira, authorities seized a Honda CG 125 motorcycle after discovering that its identification plates did not comply with official Contran standards. The driver was arrested for vehicle identification tampering.

In Leme, a serious accident occurred in the city center when a vehicle struck another car and a pedestrian on the sidewalk before crashing into a storefront. The pedestrian sustained severe injuries to the head and legs and was transported to emergency care. The driver involved was taken to a hospital following the incident.
