Police resolve two separate child kidnapping cases in India
Police in two separate Indian regions have successfully resolved kidnapping cases involving minors.
In Hyderabad, the Gachibowli police recovered two young girls, aged 3.5 and 4, after they were abducted from a labor camp in Kondapur. The suspect, identified as Chaku Soren, was apprehended near the Ghatkesar railway station following a coordinated search involving railway authorities and multiple police stations. Investigations revealed that Soren, a resident of West Bengal, had a prior criminal record involving attempted murder and rape.
In Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, police uncovered a fraudulent kidnapping report. A 14-year-old boy, who was reported missing by his father, was found safe inside a room in his own home. The investigation determined that the father, Ramakant, had staged the abduction to implicate relatives involved in a land dispute. The boy was recovered and presented to the court to record his statement.
