Police respond to battery report at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call on the afternoon of September 1 regarding a reported battery at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. The call, logged at 12:47 p.m., was categorized as “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” and was tied to an address on Restaurantosaurus Road, near the former DinoLand U.S.A. area.

Due to the way scanner calls are logged for Walt Disney World Resort properties, the exact location remains unclear. It is uncertain whether the incident involved guests within the park or cast members in a backstage area near the site currently being redeveloped by Walt Disney Imagineers into the Pueblo Esperanza land.

Neither the Orange County Sheriff’s Office nor Walt Disney World Resort has issued an official statement regarding the incident. There have been no reported disruptions to daily park operations, and guests are not expected to face any impact on their visits.
