Police Respond to Incidents at Disney World Resorts

On August 3, 2026, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received two separate 911 calls at Walt Disney World Resort hotels in Florida.

At 1:21 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Disney’s Pop Century Resort for a reported battery (unwanted touching or striking). No details on injuries, arrests, or suspects were released, and the resort continued normal operations.

At 12:22 p.m., officers responded to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for a reported grand theft. The nature of the theft, items taken, and any arrests remain unknown, and the hotel also remained open and operating normally.
