Police respond to violent incidents in Andorra and Lleida
Police in Andorra and Spain have responded to separate violent incidents. In Andorra la Vella, three police patrols intervened in a physical altercation in the Prat de la Creu area involving two residents and a tourist. While one participant received a punch and sustained non-serious injuries, no arrests were made, and the situation was controlled by authorities.
In Lleida, Spain, a 33-year-old man was arrested following a stabbing in the city's historic center. The victim, a 26-year-old man, was stabbed in the side during a dispute and was admitted to the intensive care unit at Arnau de Vilanova Hospital. The Mossos d’Esquadra are investigating the case as attempted homicide. Additionally, local police in Lleida detained an individual for a violent robbery on Rambla Ferran and another man subject to a judicial arrest order from Zaragoza.
