Police search for missing woman in Los Frentones

Police in Chaco, Argentina, have launched an operation to locate 28-year-old Marlen Anahí Ocaranza, who has been missing since the afternoon of Thursday, August 27, in Los Frentones.

Ocaranza was last seen leaving her home around 4:00 PM to visit her partner near National Route 16. Her mother filed a missing person report late that night after she failed to return. The young woman is described as being approximately 1.60 meters tall, thin, weighing about 50 kilograms, with olive skin, long brown hair, and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black jeans, a gray sports jacket, and white sneakers, and was not carrying a cell phone.

Authorities have detained Ocaranza’s 28-year-old partner for questioning. He stated he was with her between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM, after which she reportedly said she was going home. Prosecutor Gustavo Rafael Valero of the 4th Prosecutor's Office in Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña has activated the person search protocol and ordered the partner to remain in custody while investigations continue.
