Tijuana authorities arrest US citizen wanted for Las Vegas kidnapping

Mexican state agents in Tijuana have arrested Robyn Lynn “N”, a 48-year-old American woman from Idaho, who was wanted by authorities in Nevada. The arrest, conducted by the Fuerza Estatal de Seguridad Ciudadana (FESC), follows a binational information exchange with the San Diego Police Department and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.

Lynn is accused of first-degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping related to an incident in Las Vegas on July 13, 2021. During the interception in Tijuana’s Zona Centro, agents also discovered approximately eight grams of cocaine in her possession. She has been placed under the custody of the Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) to determine the legal process for her extradition to the United States.
