Police seize 2,000 drug doses and detain suspects at Hungary's Ozora Festival

During the opening days of the Ozora Festival in Fejér County, Hungary, police reported several criminal incidents. On Tuesday morning, a 30‑year‑old Israeli man was stabbed on the festival grounds; two men were arrested on suspicion of causing bodily harm that could endanger life. The police also detained three other men – a Belgian, an Israeli and a Portuguese citizen – for drug‑trafficking offenses discovered at the site.

In a separate operation, officers seized roughly 2,000 items of suspected narcotics over the first three days of the event. A German‑registered vehicle driven by a 27‑year‑old Israeli was stopped; investigators found packaged substances identified as cocaine, ketamine, MDMA and other hallucinogens. A 22‑year‑old Colombian passenger was also found with material believed to be cocaine. Both foreign nationals were taken into custody on drug‑trafficking charges. The Fejér County police emphasized continued presence to ensure the safety of festival attendees.
