Police seize 97 g cocaine in Concordia drug raids

Argentine police in the city of Concordia carried out two raids on Tuesday afternoon in Barrio Fátima I after a social‑media post showing a firearm triggered an investigation.

In the first home officers found two youths, including a 17‑year‑old, preparing cocaine packages. The suspect tossed the cocaine out a window while fleeing and was apprehended. Police seized 97.4 g of cocaine, marijuana wrappers, phones, a precision balance, nylon cut‑offs, a knife with residue and cash. The second raid yielded additional phones, cash and 85 pre‑wrapped cocaine packets, and a 27‑year‑old man, who was already serving house arrest for a federal drug case, was arrested for possession with intent to sell.
