Toguro recovers R$ 100,000 after police seizure in Guarulhos
Influencer and entrepreneur Tiago Ribeiro de Lima, known as Toguro, had R$ 100,000 in cash seized by the Military Police during a vehicle stop in Guarulhos, São Paulo. The incident occurred on a Thursday night when a Mercedes-Benz, registered to the company Marketing Gael, was intercepted on Avenida Santos Dumont because it was driving without license plates.
The vehicle was occupied by a 22-year-old driver and a passenger. The driver, an employee of Toguro, informed officers that the money was being transported to Arujá to pay for a Cadillac Escalade in a transaction involving another influencer known as Cerol. The cash was discovered inside a shoebox within a black bag.
Toguro subsequently went to the 4th Police District in Guarulhos to clarify the situation. He presented banking documentation that verified the legal origin of the funds. Following this verification, the police returned the R$ 100,000 to him. The incident was officially recorded as tampering with a vehicle identification signal, and authorities are investigating the circumstances regarding the missing license plates.
