Police seize vehicle with illegal siren in Germany and impound hypercar in Netherlands

Police in Düsseldorf, Germany, seized a VW Tiguan after a routine traffic stop for an illegal turn. Officers discovered the vehicle was equipped with an illegal siren system (Martinshorn) typically reserved for emergency services. The driver, a 21-year-old, and two passengers were found in the vehicle. Authorities noted that such installations can be considered impersonation of an emergency vehicle and may lead to the revocation of the vehicle's operating permit.

In a separate incident near Amsterdam, Netherlands, a Denza Z Spider hypercar was impounded by the Verkeerspolitie Noord-Holland. Despite the vehicle being a high-performance 1,600 hp electric model from BYD's luxury brand, the seizure was not due to speeding but administrative issues. The car was found using Hungarian dealer plates while charging in Amstelveen, which violated local regulations regarding the use of foreign garage plates for such purposes.
