Police suspend licenses of two pubs in Campagna and Battipaglia, Italy

The State Police, supported by the Administrative and Social Police Division of the Salerno police headquarters, executed two temporary license suspensions under Article 100 of the Public Security Code. The first suspension, lasting seven days, was imposed at the request of the local Carabinieri command on a public establishment in Campagna after investigations revealed it was a regular gathering spot for individuals with police records and many minors, leading to frequent noise complaints and fights that disturbed public order.

The second measure, a ten‑day suspension in Battipaglia, was taken on the recommendation of the local police command following an administrative check that uncovered an unlicensed musical and dance event. Further checks identified regular patronage by persons with criminal backgrounds, drug‑related activity and alcohol abuse. The actions are preventive, aiming to curb potential social danger, and are part of a broader territorial control strategy by the Salerno Questura.
