Police trainees manufacture and lay paving stones in Ouagadougou
Trainees from the 56th promotion of the National Police School (ENP) in Burkina Faso have participated in a civic engagement initiative to manufacture and install paving stones in Ouagadougou. The activities took place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at several locations, including the headquarters of the Faso Mêbo Agency, Philippe Zinda Kaboré High School, and Thomas Sankara Boulevard.
This initiative is part of the second phase of the third edition of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizen Participation (JEPPC), conducted under the instructions of Security Minister Mahamoudou Sana. The project aims to demonstrate the trainees' commitment to the active construction and beautification of Burkina Faso.
Issa Belemou, a first-year police non-commissioned officer and class delegate, expressed pride in the work and encouraged the general population to contribute to national development, echoing the sentiment of President Ibrahim Traoré that the nation must rely on its own citizens for its construction.
