Policlínica Dr. José Joaquín Vallarino adopts magnetotherapy for pain treatment

The Physiotherapy Service at the Policlínica Dr. José Joaquín Vallarino in Juan Díaz has introduced magnetotherapy as a new non-invasive option for treating acute and chronic pain. The technology uses magnetic fields that penetrate 10 to 12 centimeters into musculoskeletal tissues to reduce inflammation and accelerate physical recovery by restoring cellular biochemical balance.

This treatment is indicated for muscle and bone injuries, as well as chronic conditions in the cervical, dorsal, and lumbar areas. It is also applicable during recovery phases following fractures or knee replacements. The new equipment joins existing laser and ultrasound technologies at the facility to improve joint functionality and tissue regeneration.
