Polish academic and cultural institutions open new staff positions

The State Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno has launched a competition for an instructor in its Medical Rescue Department. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in medical rescue, a master's in public health or a related safety field, possess at least five years of experience working with children in emergency services, five years of academic teaching experience, and relevant certification courses (ACLS/ALS, PALS/EPALS, ITLS, USG, etc.). The salary range is 5,800‑6,200 PLN plus seniority bonuses, and applications must be submitted by 31 August 2026.

The Institute of National Memory’s Wrocław branch is recruiting for a full‑time position in its Branch Office of National Education. The role, ranging from senior inspector to senior specialist, will involve creating educational materials, organizing contests and exhibitions on recent Polish history, conducting workshops, and collaborating with central IPN units. Candidates need a humanities degree, a minimum two‑year work record, a Category B driver’s licence, fluent use of Office tools, and a clean criminal record concerning offenses against minors. The appointment is planned for October 2026.
