Polish actors share long‑term love stories and marriages

Anna Iberszer, known for her role in the TV series “Ranczo”, met fellow actor Tomasz Drabek while working on the play “Mistrz i Małgorzata” in Bielsko‑Biała. A request for a tango lesson sparked their romance, leading to a marriage that they say balances professional demands with personal independence. Iberszer recalls that, although they are not strong dancers together, mutual respect and shared artistic life have sustained their partnership.

Actress Zofia Rysiówna’s relationship with actor Adam Hanuszkiewicz began in post‑war Kraków. They married in 1948, had two children, and endured a tumultuous marriage marked by Hanuszkiewicz’s affairs with younger colleagues. After multiple divorces and separations, their marriage ended in 1976 when Hanuszkiewicz left Rysiówna for a younger actress. Rysiówna later lived with operator Sergiusz Sprudin until her death in 2003; Hanuszkiewicz died in 2011.
