Polish actress Emilia Komarnicka files for divorce, reflects on love and motherhood

Emilia Komarnicka and Redbad Klynstra have begun divorce proceedings, with their first court hearing on 9 June in Poland. Journalists noted the pair entered the courtroom separately but left later smiling and exchanging friendly gestures.

Following the hearing, Komarnicka posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, writing about "love, happiness and home" and expressing that motherhood is "a constant lesson in mindfulness." In interviews she said she wanted to "be happy" and is focusing on her sons, eight‑year‑old Kosma and six‑year‑old Tymoteusz, while remaining open to future love.

Both actors have spoken about the amicable nature of their split, with Klynstra embracing Komarnicka as they exited the courthouse. The actress emphasized that her personal growth and the well‑being of her children guide her next steps.
