Polish AI studies assess public attitudes and local government readiness for artificial intelligence

The National Information Consulting and Analysis Centre (NASK) published a comprehensive analysis of Polish adults’ views on generative artificial intelligence, digital security and online violence. The study surveyed 4,000 respondents across four waves from September 2025 to May 2026, combining web, telephone and face‑to‑face interviews to gauge optimism, trust and perceived risks associated with AI and cyber‑hygiene.

Separately, a research team from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, together with the Rural Municipalities Association of Poland (ZGWRP), invited rural gminas to complete two online questionnaires assessing institutional and employee‑level preparedness for AI deployment. The aim is to map the capacity of local administrations to adopt AI tools and to produce scientific publications that can guide future digital‑policy decisions.
