Polish Armed Forces showcase modern weaponry at 2026 Army Day parade
Poland will mark the 106th anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw with a large‑scale Polish Army Day celebration on 15 August 2026. The main event is a military parade on Warsaw’s Wisłostrada, opened to thousands of spectators and streamed from open‑air military zones across the country.
The parade will feature the latest combat systems purchased with EU SAFE programme funds, including F‑35 fighter jets, U.S. M1A2 Abrams SEPv3 tanks, South Korean K2 Black Panther tanks, Polish Krab and K9 self‑propelled howitzers, HIMARS rocket launchers, and the newly‑introduced Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles. A naval display will also take place in Gdynia, with more than 20 Polish warships and allied vessels participating.
The theme of the festivities is “#PolskaSAFE – Safe Poland”, highlighting the modernisation of the Polish Armed Forces and their role in national security.
