Polish art exhibitions explore themes of land and digital identity

Several new art exhibitions are opening in Poland, exploring themes of nature, ownership, and digital existence.

In Szczecin, Adam Słomski presented ‘Nie moja ziemia’ (Not My Land) at OFF Marina. The exhibition, part of the ‘Zderzamy perspektywy’ cycle, examines the relationship between humans and the earth. Drawing from personal experiences with land ownership, Słomski uses photography and concrete objects to reflect on the tension between the desire to control nature and the physical reality of the landscape.

In Warsaw, the Museum of Modern Art is hosting Adam Kozicki’s exhibition, ‘Wojna wszystkich ze wszystkimi’ (The War of All Against All). The works investigate the contemporary internet, portraying it as a space of conflict, shifting identities, and blurred lines between fact and emotion. Through portraits and claustrophobic settings, Kozicki explores social changes, including exclusion, hierarchy, and the emotional complexities of digital life.
