Polish athletes achieve success in darts and speedway

In regional sports news, Hieronim Furgał secured second place in the 32nd edition of the ‘Dartowiec Wtorkowiec’ tournament. After a strong run through the group stages and knockout rounds, Furgał reached the final where he narrowly lost to Krzysztof Szymański with a score of 5:4.

In speedway, Franciszek Szczyrba demonstrated total dominance in the GKSŻ 500 Cup. Over a 12-round cycle, Szczyrba won 11 rounds, accumulating 159 out of a possible 165 points. He finished the series with a perfect score in his final seven tournaments. Fabian Brożyna took second place in the overall standings with 118 points, followed by Wiktor Lis with 95 points.
