Polish athletes secure medals at international championships

Polish athletes have achieved early success in international sporting competitions. At the Academic World Championships in Szeged, Hungary, the Polish team secured four medals on the opening day. These include two silver medals in kayak sprinting and two medals in the newly introduced Stand Up Paddle (SUP) disciplines.

In a separate event, the Polish wakeboarding team is competing at the World Championships in China. Following an acclimatization period at the Shun Yi Olympic Cable Park, several athletes advanced through the qualification stages. Notable performances include Agnieszka Kobylańska taking second in her Wakeskate Open Women group, Elżbieta Nitsze placing second in the Wakeboard O40 Women category, and Igor Sikorski and Bartosz Weselak winning their respective elimination groups in the Open Seated Men category.
