Polish athletes win medals at Nordic Walking European Championships

The Nordic Walking European Championships held in Bełchatów, Poland, saw significant success from Polish athletes. Aleksandra Witczuk secured two gold medals in the disability category. She first won the 4 x 2 km relay as part of the ‘Poland Mist Team Carlos’ with a time of 57:31. She followed this with an individual gold in the 5 km race, finishing with a time of 35:21.

Additionally, the Walkers Team Nowy Sącz achieved a historic result during their European Championship debut. Anna Mieczkowska and the ‘Karpaccy Wojownicy’ team earned a bronze medal in the 4 x 10 km relay. The event featured approximately 1,000 participants from 23 countries, including representatives from the United States and Taiwan.
