Polish athletes win three medals at Para Shooting World Championships

Polish athletes secured three medals at the Para Shooting World Championships held in Changwon, South Korea, between September 10 and 15, 2026.

Emilia Babska won a bronze medal in the women's SH1 50m rifle event (R8). After qualifying in seventh place, Babska maintained a strong position throughout the final, ultimately securing third place ahead of competitors from China and Sweden.

In the team air pistol (P5) competition, Szymon Sowiński, Kacper Pierzyński, and Maciej Burzyński earned a bronze medal. Sowiński, a former Paralympic silver medalist, entered the final in eighth place before securing a podium finish behind competitors from China.
