Police in Poland are searching for a 30‑year‑old man who left Wrocław on 22 May 2026 to take up employment in Belgium. He was last heard from his father on 10 July, and his whereabouts remain unknown. He is described as about 170 cm tall, slim, with short dark hair and a bird tattoo on his calf.
In a separate incident, 42‑year‑old Łukasz S., a Polish national who disappeared on 22 July in the municipality of Lier, Norway, was found dead on the Gilhusodden beach near Drammen after a rescue operation involving a helicopter, police, fire‑ brigade divers and a Red Cross drone. Authorities said he drowned in a fjord under poor visibility and strong wind.
Both cases involve Polish citizens missing abroad and have prompted appeals for public assistance from the respective police forces.
