Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków to host historic flight exhibition and harvest festival

The Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków is hosting two significant cultural events. An exhibition titled ‘Arrive Tokyo! The Extraordinary Flight of Bolesław Orliński and Leonard Kubiak’ commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Warsaw–Tokyo–Warsaw rally. The display features historical artifacts, including Orliński’s suitcase, previously unpublished photographs from Kubiak’s album, and original documents regarding Japanese honors such as the Order of the Rising Sun awarded to the pilots.

Additionally, the museum will host the 28th Małopolska Voivodeship Harvest Festival on September 6, 2026. This marks the first time the regional harvest celebration will be held in the capital, Kraków. The event will feature traditional harvest rituals, regional food tastings, agricultural machinery exhibitions, and cultural performances.
