Major banks in Poland and Czechia announce weekend service outages

Several major banks in Poland and the Czech Republic have announced scheduled technical maintenance for the weekend of August 22–23, 2026, which will impact digital banking services.

In Poland, Erste Bank Polska will experience various service outages starting Saturday evening, affecting its mobile app, internet banking, transfers, and BLIK. PKO BP has scheduled a six-hour window of downtime for its mobile app and internet services on Sunday morning. ING Bank Śląski will also undergo maintenance from Saturday night into Sunday morning, impacting mobile banking, BLIK, and ATM/deposit machine access.

In the Czech Republic, CREDITAS will have its online banking and investment apps unavailable from Friday through Sunday, while Raiffeisenbank has scheduled outages for its digital services during the night on both Friday and Saturday.

Across most affected institutions, physical payment cards are expected to continue working at stationary terminals and for ATM withdrawals, though customers are advised to plan ahead and secure cash if necessary.
