Polish book festivals announced in Bielsko-Biała and Toruń

Poland is preparing for two significant literary events. The inaugural BBOOK Book Festival will take place in Bielsko-Biała from October 16–18, 2026. The event is expected to feature approximately 70 exhibitors, including the local online bookstore tantis.pl. The festival will include author meetings, workshops, and family-oriented attractions, coinciding with Bielsko-Biała's role as the Polish Capital of Culture.

Separately, the Toruń Book Festival is scheduled for November 23–29, 2025. The festival has announced Szczepan Twardoch, the 2026 Nike Literary Award winner, as its special guest. Twardoch, whose works have sold over a million copies, will promote his upcoming novel, ‘Waldkauz’. The festival also features the ‘O liść konwalii’ national poetry competition, which has received over 660 entries.
