Polish boxers advance to quarterfinals at European Championships

Polish boxers achieved significant success at the European Boxing Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria. Nikolas Pawlik advanced to the quarterfinals in the under 55 kg category after a closely contested match against Ukraine's Maksym Zymenko. Despite a point deduction during the fight, Pawlik secured the victory with judges' scores of 4:1, 3:2, and 4:1.

In the women's divisions, Natalia Kuczewska secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the 51 kg category by defeating Russia's Ruket Kusztowa with a 5:0 decision. Additionally, Kinga Krówka advanced to the quarterfinals in the 65 kg category, winning 3:0 against Caroline Lauenborg despite receiving a penalty point in the second round.
