Polish boy catches 233-centimeter catfish in Odra River

A 10-year-old boy, Kacper Boufał, caught a massive catfish in the Odra River in Poland. During a fishing trip with his father, Piotr Boufał, the boy landed a wels catfish measuring 233 centimeters long.

The catch occurred on July 16 using the vertical method. While his father assisted with the initial stages of the struggle, Kacper managed the final part of the fight himself. Although there is no official registry for youth fishing records, the catch is noted as a significant event in Polish youth fishing.
