Polish Cardinals lead religious services and commemorations

Polish Catholic leaders have been conducting various religious services and delivering homilies focused on community, responsibility, and the legacy of faith.

In Łódź, Cardinal Konrad Krajewski presided over a Mass at the Missionaries of Charity, honoring Mother Teresa. He described her as “the Gospel in action,” noting that her life was defined by prayer and restoring dignity to the poor rather than mere social work. He shared personal recollections of her work during the preparations for her canonization.

In Krakow, Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś marked the 800th anniversary of the St. Vincent parish in Pleszowie. He emphasized the responsibility of the faithful to act as guardians of their community, comparing generations of believers to links in a chain. He also spoke at a youth pilgrimage in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, where he addressed the importance of purposeful living and evangelization. The event included 50 children from Ukraine organized by Caritas.

Throughout these gatherings, the clergy emphasized themes of fraternal correction rooted in love, the importance of spiritual continuity, and the necessity of finding meaning in one's actions.
