Polish Castles and Palaces Ranking 2026 announced

Travelist Magazine, in collaboration with the Polish Tourism Organization, has launched the first edition of the Polish Castles and Palaces Ranking 2026. Experts selected nearly 60 historical sites across four main categories based on historical, cultural, and architectural significance, as well as state of preservation and tourism importance.

Notable nominees include the Royal Castle in Chęciny in the ‘Most Atmospheric Ruins’ category, Krasiczyn Castle in the ‘Most Beautiful Castle’ category, and the Łańcut Castle Museum in the ‘Most Beautiful Palace’ category. A fifth open category, ‘Poles’ Favorite Castle or Palace,’ allows voters to nominate any site in the country.

Public voting is currently underway and will continue until October 14, 2026. The final results of the ranking will be officially announced on October 28, 2026.
