Polish cities of Przemyśl and Zamość launch major road and bridge renovation projects

The municipality of Przemyśl announced a public tender to rebuild and modernise dozens of streets, sidewalks, parking lots and related infrastructure across the city. Works will cover streets such as Racławicka, Bielskiego, Chodźki, Kosynierów, Czachowskiego, Piastowska, Sybiraków and Cegielniana, along with new parking facilities near the Bielskiego estate and the Zasańskie cemetery. The contract includes resurfacing, new curbs, upgraded drainage and the construction of pedestrian pathways.

In Zamość, officials selected a contractor to repair the historic wooden bridge at Nowa Brama Lubelska. The project, budgeted at over 578,000 PLN, will involve demolition of the existing structure, restoration of masonry elements, replacement of pillars and installation of new beam components, decking and railings. Work is expected to begin shortly after the contract is signed and to be completed within six months, restoring the bridge that links Łukasiński Street to the Planty district.
