Polish Cities Launch Summer Science Workshops for Children

In August, the Pracownia Kreatywna H2O at the Siemianowice Śląskie Cultural Center will run a series of one‑hour science workshops for children. Sessions are scheduled for ages 5–7 on Tuesdays (4, 11, 18, 25 Aug) at 11:00 and for ages 8+ on Thursdays (6, 13, 20, 27 Aug) at 17:00, costing 25 zł per ticket. Participants can experiment with water, steam, compressed air, light and safe electrical circuits under the guidance of educator Andrzej Lebek.

Meanwhile, the Centrum Witelona in Legnica offers a range of laboratory‑style workshops covering topics such as colour theory, optics and biology. The programmes are designed for different age groups and emphasize hands‑on learning, helping children develop curiosity and critical thinking.
