Polish clergy highlighted in local religious tributes
In Poland, recent religious community events have highlighted the lives and legacies of local clergy. A special Eucharist was held to celebrate the name day of Father Mateusz Gliwa, a monastery vicar. During the service, Father Piotr Cuber delivered a homily focusing on divine mercy and the importance of sincere spiritual conversion over mere outward religious practice.
Separately, Father Dariusz Oko has honored the memory of the late Father Stanisław Małkowski. Małkowski was recognized for his extensive volunteer work with prisoners, providing both spiritual and material support to those reintegrating into society. Despite facing personal hardships and even being victimized by those he helped, Małkowski was noted for his magnanimity and his practice of praying for his persecutors.
