Wisła Kraków signs defender Maxence Maisonneuve and goalkeeper Marcel Łubik
Polish club Wisła Kraków, preparing for its return to the PKO Ekstraklasa, confirmed two new signings. The club secured French centre‑back Maxence Maisonneuve, 27, on a contract running to 2028 with an option for another season. Maisonneuve joins from Belgian side RAAL La Louvière after 34 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League and is noted for his 191 cm height and defensive presence.
Wisła also arranged for 22‑year‑old German goalkeeper Marcel Łubik to join on loan from FC Augsburg. Łubik, who spent the previous season on loan at Górnik Zabrze and featured in 34 league matches, will undergo a medical examination before finalising the deal, which includes a contract with Augsburg lasting until 2029. Both players are expected to strengthen the squad as Wisła aims to consolidate its position in Poland’s top flight.
