Polish combat sports athletes prepare for new career stages and world championships

Polish combat sports athletes are preparing for significant upcoming challenges. UFC fighter Mateusz Rębecki has undergone a major life and career transition, relocating to Łódź. Following an invitation from KSW champion Adrian Bartosiński, Rębecki has established a new training camp and support staff, including a sports psychologist and motor trainer, to provide stability after a difficult period.

Meanwhile, the Polish national Muay Thai team, led by coach Rafał Maciaszek, is traveling to Kosovo for the World Championships. The team aims to improve upon last year's performance, where they secured six medals. Maciaszek noted the high level of discipline required for the tournament, emphasizing that athletes must maintain physical and mental form through multiple bouts while strictly adhering to weight limits.
